How a crowdsourced database aims to track problematic opioid settlement spending

In this article, we highlight our database tracking opioid settlement waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement.

The database asks the public to report when the money is being mismanaged — not necessarily from a legal standpoint but from an ethical one. “For our purposes, we want all of the money to go toward all things related to reducing death and disease associated with opioids,” Stoltman said.
